What’s this all about? If you are interested in learning together with another class, solving problems together and students sharing their learning this could be a project for you to join.
By filling in the form you’ll then be sent your city/country school and class. Each week there will be different challenge for you to complete that will be put on this blog as posts and involve online and offline challenges.
The project will begin in term 1 and involve literacy, numeracy and other curriculum areas.
Classes will have different tasks to suit students and curriculum at different levels. You can join in term 1 or any other term this year. Your project can begin with this and then develop into your own collaboration with another class. Or you can simply follow the session suggestions. Some sessions may give enough basis for two connections.

Thank you Wycheproof Grades 2,3,4 for chatting with us the other day!
Here’s a copy of the letter that the Foundations wrote to Wycheproof.
Dear Wycheproof College,
Hello. We are Foundation L from Doncaster Primary School. Here are some things about us. There are 560 kids at our school. There are 16 children in our class. We are in Room 22.
How many children are in your school?
What things do you like to do at school?
What do you learn at school?
What do you do for fun?
How do you get to school?
What is your grade’s favourite book?
Nice to meet you!
From Foundation L, Doncaster Primary School
We found the conversation with Doncaster about pets very interesting. Our kids were suprised to find out that kids in the city could have pet chickens! We all liked the graphs you made. We will post some pictures of our pet drawings later this week.
We had our first successful conference call with Talbot Primary School! It was very exciting to say hello and meet the students. We learnt alot about each others and look forward to many more video calls.
Hello Grade 1/2,
We are excited to see you all on Thursday, fingers crossed. I have included a photo of the class with a student teacher. I took the photo. We have 16 students in our class, a few were away when the photo was taken. There are 11 boys and 5 girls in the class, so lots of boys. Tomorrow we are going to write a list of questions we are going to ask. I have no idea what sort of questions will be asked!
Have a great day,
